"Hi, my name is Joshua Peskay. I want to tell you about the Zeigarnik Effect.

The Zeigarnik Effect is named after Russian psychologist Bluma Zeigarnik and it describes a phenomenon where if you start a task but do not finish it the tension causes you to continue thinking about the task.

If you find yourself procrastinating on a task you can leverage the Zeigarnik Effect by starting the task in a small way, say by simply creating the document and putting a title on it, then the Zeigarnik Effect will compel you to return to the task until you complete it. That is the Zeigarnik Effect."

Let us know how you've leveraged the Zeigarnik Effect to improve your productivity!
