We are a small, fast-growing Managed Services Provider that needs an IT Professional to join our Customer Success team who services small to medium sized businesses in the Maine, Dallas-Fort Worth Texas, New York, NY area and occasionally Stamford, Connecticut locations. Ideal Candidates would have several years of work history with an MSP with knowledge across a wide range of business technologies. Applicants should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience

Role Overview

In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimal performance of our clients' new workstations. You will be responsible for coordination of scheduling new workstation set-ups with our Rapid Response Team, set-up and configuration of new workstations, creating and updating of client documentation, and providing white-glove onboarding to users of new systems. With your in-depth knowledge and problem-solving skills, you will lead efforts to enhance processes, implement best practices, and deliver top-notch customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • New Workstation and New User Account Onboarding/Offboarding:

    • Configure and deploy new workstations for clients according to established standards and procedures.

    • Create and securely distribute new accounts for devices, software applications, email, and file sharing.

    • Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, etc.).

    • Ensure proper security measures are implemented on all workstations, per client need and following RTT best practices.

    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, assess needs, and provide recommendations for workstation configurations.

    • Document all workstation configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures.

    • Provide training and white glove onboarding to end-users on workstation setup, usage, and best practices.

  • Back-Up Onboarding Team Operations:

    • Participate in new client onboardings as needed.

    • Back up primary onboarding coordinator for vacation/sick day coverage.

    • Assist with process documentation and client documentation as needed.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success Managers, Strategic Services, Tech Ops and Support teams, to ensure seamless support of client networks and endpoints.

    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to client stakeholders and internal teams, providing regular updates and ensuring expectations are managed.

    • Act as a technical point of contact for clients and internal teams, offering guidance and recommendations.

    • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to workstation setup and configuration.

    • Demonstrate a learning mindset and a commitment to personal growth and development by seeking out training opportunities and actively learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

  • Proven experience in configuring and deploying workstations in a business environment.

  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, MacOS).

  • Strong knowledge of hardware components and peripherals.

  • Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with network protocols, security principles, and best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Schedule

  • This is a salaried position with general hours of 40-45 hours per week.

  • The manager determines the Final Shift schedule, which will generally be a US day shift with East Coast Hours.
